The verdict
Varify wins six matchups on the same two levers every time: the only fully published price list in this field, from 199 euro a month with unlimited tracked users, and German hosting that is cookieless by default. It loses the statistics criterion in all seven of its matchups, because one-sided tests are the default, Bayesian analysis is Pro-only, and there is no sequential testing and no sample-size planner. Against Convert that trade still ends 55 to 45 for Varify, since a flat rate beats a 100,000-user cap. Only Apex beats it, on statistics, commerce and breadth.

Strengths
- Flat rate with unlimited monthly tracked users on every plan, removes the biggest cost driver of VWO/Convert/Optimizely-class tools for high-traffic shops.
- No second source of truth: results are computed in your own GA4, BigQuery, PostHog or Shopify data, so testing and analytics numbers cannot disagree.

Weaknesses
- One domain per plan on every tier, multi-brand and multi-country setups must negotiate "on request", even on Enterprise.
- Tight entry plan: Growth caps at 5 active experiments and locks Bayesian stats, CSV export, APIs and staging environments behind Pro.
- The default statistics are the aggressive option: one-sided tests ship as default, and two-sided tests require Pro, the cheapest plan is the most likely to over-call winners.
- No sequential/always-valid testing and no sample-size planner, peeking discipline rests on advice, not math.
- AI features and Shopify checkout testing are metered extras: AI credits sold separately, checkout app $119/month on top and Shopify Plus only.
- No SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification yet, which blocks some enterprise procurement.
